Wai`anae, Hawai`i — April 26, 2013 — CARF International announced that Wai`anae Coast Community Mental Health Center, Inc., dba Hale Na’au Pono has been accredited for a period of three years for the following Programs & Services:
- Case Management/Services Coordination: Integrated: AOD/MH (Adults)
- Case Management/Services Coordination: Mental Health (Adults)
- Community Housing: Mental Health (Adults)
- Integrated Behavioral Health/Primary Care: Comprehensive Care (Adults)
- Out-of-Home Treatment: Family Services (Children and Adolescents)
- Outpatient Treatment: Integrated: AOD/MH (Adults)
- Outpatient Treatment: Mental Health (Adults)
- Community Integration
- Foster Family Services
- Respite Services
The latest accreditation is the Seventh consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to Hale Na`au Pono.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
Hale Na`au Pono is a not-for-profit organization with offices at 86-226 Farrington Hwy., Wai`anae Hawai`i, 96792. It has been providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services in the Wai`anae area since 1988.
Hale Na`au Pono is the only CARF accredited Community Mental Health Center in Hawai`i
