Hale Kukunaokala's mission is to provide a culturally appropriate range of services in Psychiatry, nursing, Psychotherapy, and clinical coordination of outpatient services, in order to manage symptoms of mental illness, promote community integration, and meet the needs and desires of the consumer. Services Provided
Hours of OperationThe Hale Kukunaokala offers both 24 hour and 8 - 16 hour Group Home supervision. The 8 - 16 hour Group Home supervision operates from 6:30am to 10:30am and from 2:30pm to 6:30am. Relief Managers have access to crisis services provided by each case management team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Program Entry CriteriaConsumers ages 18 years old or older. Maintenance Level Services, low intensity treatment and intervention services to establish, improve, or stabilize level of functioning are provided to consumers requiring minimal supervision. Consumer must be diagnosed with a serious mental illness as classified by the Hawaii State Department of Health, Adult Mental Health Division (AMHD). GAF scores indicating level of functioning that dictate eligibility criteria on a case by case basis. No medical health insurance is required if the consumer meets AMHD criteria. Private payment for services is available, with fee schedules based on financial ability. |
